Post your architectural photos here

Thanks! Last saw that building in 1957! Surely some work has been done on it since.
It is waaaaay off the beaten path, that is for sure. Have some inside pics I may share, doubt it has changed any. Judge Bean was a real character of a person out of the old west. The Paul Newman movie didn't do him justice (no pun intended) as it was just loosely based on his exploits with liberal artistic license to his antics.

I haven’t posted here in a long time but have been spending more time on this site again. Anyways here is one of my recent frames.

By today's standards, he used the pretense of law as a murder weapon. By the standards of his day, he was harsh, but effective in keeping the peace...

He was also known to fine rather than jail....the fine was the equivalent of what was in your pocket/saddle bags. Highway robbery or law and justice? He was a product of his time and environment, that is for sure! My favorite story though is how he orchestrated the international boxing championship being held on a small island in the middle of the Rio Grande river near Langtry to avoid problems related to legality in the US and Mexico....in essence no man's land. This also allowed gambling to occur. There was no legal jurisdiction.
