Scan of a print - abstracted using a very special technique
 
From some fun experiments involving lamp black we did a few years ago at one of our Darkroom Group meetings. I call this one "Elvis". This is a digital capture (IIRC):
 
The old turn the print 90 degrees trick?
I'm found out - and so quickly too.
It actually looks fairly abstract when right side up too.
 
"Define abstract" often comes to mind. And some questions: Is it abstract...


... if I can tell how the image was made - are multiple exposures abstract?


... if I can see what has been photographed - is it just the place viewed through the prism of photographer?


... if I have a recurring case of Pareidolia and see faces...


... and Kodama inhabiting the forests?


Is this an abstract portrait of death or just two slides of a dead sparrow sandwiched in a single slide mount?
