Post your abstract photographs here

It's a totally new idea that the way you choose a title for an abstract is important for an observer to interpret the image as abstract or not, so it's logical that it needs some time to be accepted.

i hope you know i am just goofing around
your methods &c sound pretty good ...
but i think if siskind, or weston were
here they would give you a hard time too

to me, the only rule should be having a good time
but that's just me ...

Well of course I know you are goofing around, no problem with that. I can be wrong, but I actually think it is a deliberate habit of yours to mess around without much of a plan or preparation to artificially introduce random effects for surprising results. One day I want to work in such a way too.

So picassos blue guitar ceased to be an abstraction once he named it? In my view an enjoyable pattern is equally enjoyable if it comes from reflected photons directly to the sensor or if it has been modified in between by the human creator. And indeed, the humble camera can help many of us to see the world in a different way.even if we admit to the origins of the images.
