Almost every posed photograph I see of a photographer with his camera is so nerdy and/or uncool. There must be some good ones out there! Post them if you can find them. Believe me it will be a challenge  Photos of photographres in action don't count. Just posed stuff. Here is one that I think is nerdy. Obviously someone asked HCB to pose with his camera and his disdain for the whole thing shows through.

Eric... that is the nerdiest picture of a photographer with his/her camera... of all times. Distain indeed!

This one of Carl Weese is pretty nerdy. It's suppose to look like he is studiously taking a photo...

At least Karsh had the foresight to close his shutter...

Or how about this one of St. Ansel that looks like a product placement shot?

Is this nerdy enough for you? :D

Yes! And, I've always liked this one at the top of the Chrysler building.
She was mainly a fashion photographer in those days and had a studio in the Chrysler building.

I found another photographer and his camera, the camera looks a lot like Andreas Feininger's

But it'll have to wait until end of the current round of "guess that photographer" (there was a url link here which no longer exists)

I only learned of Chansonetta and her endeavors as a photographer after acquiring an original portrait of her daughter Dorothy Emmons taken by J. E. Purdy of Boston for my portrait collection.
