I read an article today on the Leica forum (in German language).
Besides info about possible talks for an US take over of Leica, there is also a hint for a new Leica M-M, specially developed for the US market only.
As I said, the article is in German, but you can see the images of the new US test models at: http://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica...sney/?utm_source=20130401de&utm_medium=E-Mail
I love the ears....brand new technology I assume. I'll bet there's a flux capacitor in there somewhere too so it can take the pictures that you missed last year as well as the ones you might miss next week, today! Yup....I'm getting in line.
Hi John,
That was one of the original features, but is was dropped recently.
I've heard they had problems calibrating the capacitator in the prototype because of the different time zones (Germany vs. US, that is).
It seems there was a time slack from 6 to 8 houres.
