Hey..

A lot of the pictures (30-60& ca.) from my latest rolls of film taken with my Ricoh R1s have lines on the bottom of the negatives. In the exact same place, and a very smooth fine cut line. Is this a light leak or could it be that i put pressure on the back door of the camera while taking the photo?

Examples attached.

The patterns on your pics look very much like the patterns discussed here, therefore yes, this looks like a light leak.

In order to locate the point of entry, check which side of your film is affected, and where this side is when the film is in the camera. The camera lens flips left&right and up&down, so from the subject matter on your negs it should be easy to determine which side was left/up during exposure and therefore where light came in. There a shops which sell replacement light seals.

The light leak is probably at the top of the camera door [remember that the image is flipped over by the lens]. You need to replace the light seals.

The light leak appears at the short side of the image area, therefore it is likely either at the left hand or right hand side of his camera door. The easiest check would be black electrical tape stuck over all four camera door edges: if the light leaks are prevented with this, then it is time to order replacement seals. The electrical tape solution should work until the seals arrive.
