Nikon 85mm at f 1.8 free lensing on heavy rain dark cloudy day. TRI-X 400 at 200 ISO normal develop. I really like the look and the never know what your going to get fun when free lensing. This is a scan of the negative.

What is "free lensing"? Do you mean available light?
Never mind, I googled the term. It appears to be a di***al thing brought over to film.

Because some people use it with a digital camera means it is a digital thing ? I was doing this long before digital cameras even existed so i don't really understand your response.

Not exactly a digital thing, nor an unfamiliar thing, but certainly a new term for it. I hadn't heard it before. "Freelensing" is apparently unmounting the lens, setting it at infinity, and holding it in front of the camera to focus, tilt and shift. It's the sort of thing that becomes more attractive to attempt with digital, because you don't have to worry about stray light bleeding into adjacent frames.

I see it as an opportunity to drop a lens on the ground.

I love the effect. Very nice!

Great emotive image, nicely done.

I had never heard the term, either, but do like what you've done.
