If you limit the possibilites to lenses in the "wide to ultrawide range" then adapting film lenses to APS-C digital cameras such as your D200 becomes somewhat more problematic because of the crop factor. On full-frame/135 film cameras, I would consider lenses with focal lengths in the 24-28mm lens to be "wide" - and anything much less than that to be "ultrawide."Anyone have affinity for a particular lens (aftermarket or orig.) that can be used with BOTH a SLR and DSLR?
I have a few lenses I trade back and forth between my D200 DSLR and F100 film body, but am missing something in the wide to ultrawide range.
Of course the D200 is a DX sensor and the F100 is a full-frame film camera, but it's bearable.
Any observations or suggestions?
