Does anyone know something about this paper ? They call it "Retro POP baryt papier" and say that it's an extremely silver-rich silver-chloride emulsion... I am thinking about ordering some... it's only 12,50 euro for 10sh 8x10...
It's probably the same as Retrophotographic POP, or Chicago Albumen Works' POP. It's fun. I use it quite often.
You need negatives with a very, very long scale to get good prints on it. Pyro or other staining developer seems to be the best way to build sufficient UV density with modern films.
Yes, mostly gold toning. I use Tetenal goldtoner, others should work as well. There's some difference in whether you tone before or after fixing - if allowed to go to completion the result is about the same, but the intermediate steps are different. So I play around with it...
