. . . in space.

I was driving down to the store. Thinking about things. Thinking about this 'Earth: Biology' on the Discovery Channel. Pictures of the atmoshpere from above. The long shadows from the towers of storms. 'Moonrise' shot from the moon itself with a Hassy. Hey, I then thinks. Has anyone ever worked out a procedure for processing black and white film in a zero g environment? Problems I can foresee mostly surround air. Air bubbles. Agitation. Any resources or thoughts or actual work done would be really neat to read about. Lemme here y'all.

I think you have too much time on your hands. While driving, you should be thinking about the road and your vehicle, not daydreaming. Please.

It'll take two people and one 8' diameter "hamster wheel". One person processes the negatives while the other runs like crazy to provide enough centrifugal force to keep the chemicals in the trays. Should be a snap, although making things light proof in the darkness of space might be tricky too.

High viscosity developer. Was used in motion pictures as a compensating developer; the thick, viscous fluid applied precisely and allowed to develop in a highly humid environment, then processed as normal.

Think of a modified Polaroid system with gel pods of developer; once you get beyond that, the bubbles shouldn't matter too much if you have constant agitation, right?

I should add that the one doing the running should be a very good hurdler as well as have great timing. Otherwise, things could get ugly with deep bruises and globular bits of chemicals floating all about the spaceship.
