Polymer Photogravure, N. Saanich, BC, Sept 2019

Don Messec will be giving a workshop for using the direct to plate method of creating polymer photogravure plates, and how to print those plates in North Saanich (just above Victoria) on Vancouver Island, BC, Canada, from September 17th to the 20th, 2019.

There are so many things to learn about this process! I've never touched an intaglio press before, or have any idea how to prepare papers for printing, let alone how to ink and wipe a plate. Really looking forward to this workshop!!

I'd be there except i'm in New Mexico ;-( I've been trying to learn about this process ... there's info online but I think this requires workshops.
