Pollen season and photo equipment?

I was out there (Eastern MA, U.S.) with a new-to-me Yashica A, walking around, and I think I saw a hint of pollen on my taking lens.

Best ways to deal with pollen,besides caps and cases?

Canned air, or an air blower bulb.

Either of the above, or a blow-brush combination. Anything that will move the pollen with minimum if any contact with the lens. Also, consider getting a UV filter to keep the pollen on a surface you can remove for cleaning, or replace easily and inexpensively.

Ah, new to TLR, I am not sure what filters are available.

Just looked on eBay (don't have one of those), looks like it'll take some diameter of screw-in filter. I'm guessing it's in the range of 40.5, but I'd want to confirm that. If you have the same filter on both taking and viewing lens, your slip-on lens cap ought to fit over them, but the case might or might not close with the extra thickness under the cap.

Ah, new to TLR, I am not sure what filters are available.

From what I can tell, you need a push on filter adapter - something like a 32mm one (you should check the size).
