Any focus tab is better than no focus tab. IMO. With any focus tab you know without looking at camera, lens which focus distance it is set.
If you are photographing streets, it doesn't matter. If you photograph on the street, it makes the difference. But you have to know how to use it and you have to practice how to use it.
For example, this lens has little use as is for street photography. But with this:
:it is next to Summarit-M 35 2.5 in focus handling. Well, IMO, Summarit-M 35 modern tab is the best. It is in combination of short, smoth and light focus throw. And light aperture clicks.
Again, for those who could only use lens for street photography @f8 and it is 21mm lens it is next to irrelevant.
I changed lubrication to light one and with focus tab it is as smooth as Leica 50 mm lenses.
