Polaroid Vision 95 film

I've just been given a bag of out-of-date film. Most of it is 35mm colour but there are also 4 packs of Polaroid Vision 95. So, a couple of questions:

1) What camera does this fit? (I'll look for one on line if the answer to Q2 is positive!)

2) It's dated Sept 1995. It's been stored in a fridge and the 35 colour print film of similar age works fine (if a bit washed out). Will this still be any good or should I chuck it?

I just fancy trying something a bit different.

It was made for the Polaroid JoyCam and Vision cameras I believe. I don't think they were on the market that long nor particularly successful. Instant films tend not to be much use when long past their expiry dates, even if frozen. Whereas, as you have found, conventional films can often be fairly acceptable. Personally I wouldn't bother to go hunting for a suitable camera as the results are likely to be very disappointing. I would keep the 35mm films but chuck the Vision 95.

Vision was a short-lived rename of the Captiva camera line (which, IIRC, had been called Vision all along outside the US and Canada. The film had been called "500" before that, and simply "Captiva" for most of its production life (confusing customers - no wonder they went bankrupt).

I believe that the Captiva, Vision, and Joy Cam models can use this film (the Pop Shots came loaded with the same file, but it can't be reloaded). Polaroid also made an instant printer that used this film, one loaded the box with film, plugged an SD card into the box, and the box would make prints.

Have you still got the film for the Vision 95 camera? My sister and I bought the vision 95 camera in a charity shop by chance in hope that we would be able to find the film... we havent as yet and its proving difficult. Do you still have it?/would you be looking to sell it on?

Dont bother. finding 500 polaroid film is rare and when you do find it, its expensive. even then, the photo might not even come out since its expired.
