Tried buying some SX-70 film back in january and it was sold out. Checked again today after loading my last pack of 600 and still showing SX70 unavailable. Did I miss the restock?
Polaroid SX-70 availability and selection has been spotty for a while now, whereas in the early days it was basically the same as their 600 film selection. Before, it was mainly only the special editions that were not available in SX-70 flavour. I fear that they might cut the SX-70 film and only concentrate on i-Type (and hopefully 600) in the future versions of their film.
The polaroid website says this: "Please note: There is currently a lot of demand for our film, and we’re working hard to ship as much film as we can from our factory in the Netherlands. Unfortunately it means that SX-70 film will be out of stock from time to time while we ramp up our production. Rest assured, we will keep producing it. Sign up to the back in stock notification on the product page to be the first to know when SX-70 film comes back in stock!"
