Polaroid mag for my RB67 - am I mad?

Hi all,
I was thinking of getting a Polaroid mag for my RB67 just for a bit of fun as they are so cheap at the moment, but am I mad? What Fuji instant film is still available and would fit in them? I'm mainly thinking of doing it just for my kids so they can see the pictures almost straight afterwards as 'daddy's big camera' doesn't seem as much fun as mummy's small digital one with the screen on the back.
Of course there willbe other creative possibilites as well....

There's Fuji film to fit so you have no problems, just check the back/film combinations.

does anyone know if you need the P-adaptor for a polaroid back or will it fit onto the normal rotating adaptor?

I doesn't fit onto the rotating adaptor. You take that off and then the polaroid back goes on there, directly. At least that's how my two polaroid backs works- they don't rotate.

I still (happily) shoot type 665 and 55 in the rb. It's wonderful. And fuji 3.25" pack stuff too. I have the medium-format (pack) polaroid back and the 4x5 (loose sheet) back; with the latter, you can also shoot fuji quickloads on the rb. As I recall, neither goes onto the rotating adapter, that has to come off.

I have a polaroid back for my RZ and I find it very good. I got some film from Hilton's in Hull last time I used it about 3 weeks ago.

Just a side question - can those unexposed polaroid sheets be stored in freezers to make them useful past their expiration dates, just like regular film?

Pack film seems to store well in the fridge; the individual sheet films do not store so well, in my experience.

I cannot say anything negative about the fuji instant films, they seem to be very robust and store very well out of the fridge. I have seen no colour shifts with age.

I would not freeze any of the instant films. My fear would be that the developing goo might become brittle.

Right Keith. Freezing can cause the chemical pods to burst.
