Polaroid Landcamera Model 80

I really really really want to convert this into a usable camera, but I'll be honest, I don't have the slightest clue as to how to go about doing it nor do I know a thing about film. But I'm always up for learning! So if anyone can help me in this department it'd be much appreciated!

This might help. And you can use it as a single shot using 4x5 sheet film without conversion. You'll need a darkroom, though.

Thanks for that, but i don't have a dark room nor do I know of a place that I can use one. But I can't even tell what's going on in those screen shots but I did stumble across that in my search. I've seen many older polaroid guides on converting them into using 120 film just not one that can really help me on how to convert my specified model

I would think the roll film models would all be pretty much the same. That being said, I am not sure an 80 would be worth much converting; but then, I am prejudiced. I have a 110B to take Fujiroid pack film , and a 110A I am not sure I am going to have converted: it's kind of neat using it as a one shot. Sure makes one concentrate, having only a single shot. But, then I like single shot rifles, too.
If you were willing to invest in the film, a small amount of chemistry, and have a bathroom which can be made completely dark, a set of 5x7 developing trays would be just a couple of bucks on fleabay and you would be on your way to make 2 1/4 x 3 1/4 black and white negs.

i wish I knew a single thing about film, sadly i don't though. So dark room, as simple as it can be made to be, is way over my head at this point.

At what point. I've been in the analog scene for about 2-3 weeks now and all my pics in my gallery/upload folder were developed by me. Two chemicals that's it. I'm sure it shows in my work but I bet Picasso didn't start out with what he is known for. Well, maybe he did.
