Hey guys! I bought my first medium camera today! it was a craigslist buy. Very cheap. Great value too. I purchased the Mamiya 645 1000s and it the seller through in a polaroid film back. The thing is, I cant seem to figure out how to attach it to the back of the camera itself. Has anyone ever had any experiences with this? it doesn't even seem like the polaroid back is made for the darn thing. it doesn't seem like this model of camera allows for it. I couldn't find any sources online on the subject either. Any input is appreciated

As far as I know, there was no Polaroid back option for the 1000s.
There was one for the later M645 Super and Pro.
It is called the Polaroid Film Pack Holder (catalog number 211-408).

Just like Matt said - the Mamiya 645 1000s doesn't have changeable back, so there's no chance to attach the Polaroid Film Pack Holder.
I have a similar Polaroid back for my Bronica ETRSi but I don't use it because of the tiny - like a postage stamp- image size you'll get as result
(about 1/3 of the sheet is used for the picture - the rest is black).

You can usually tell which camera the Polaroid back will fit by looking at the mounting area and noting the presence or absence of a 'light pipe" and dark slide. How about a picture of it?

If I recall correctly the 1000s only has interchangeable film inserts not entire backs.
