There is a variety of Polaroid backs out there for the Mamiya RB. However, not all Polaroid films are still available. Which back (or backs) are still usable, i.e., there is film available for them?

You'll want the Mamiya RB67 polaroid back with the P adapter place (rather than replacing the standard film back itself, you unclamp the revolving back in its entirity using the lever at the bottom of the camera; the polaroid back attaches to the P adapter, which attaches in place of the revolving plate.)

That takes standard Polaroid 3.25x4.25 pack film - eg. 690, 669, 664, 672.

Bad form to reply to your own post I know, but I can't seem to edit that one (presumably too late)... But wanted to add, you can also use the Fuji instant pack film with the Polaroid back as well; this is worth knowing because Fuji FP100c produces gorgeous prints - far nicer than any of the Polaroid films I've tried (but, I haven't tried them all, I admit.)

I haven't seen a back for the RB67 that takes different film, the standard 3.25X4.25 seem to be the most common, but it would be worth checking to make sure that's what it is. I have a Lane back that I got on eBay, probably about $20. It does not require the P adapter, it is basically built in to the back.
