For sale is a Polaroid 81-12 processor for 8x10 Polaroid. I've used this processor successfully with both old Polaroid material and the currently produced integral 8x10 film. It was most recently used this month. I'm selling it because I finally found a Calumet portable processor for my 8x10 work, so this one is now surplus. The processor comes with the loading tray, power cord and one 81-05 film holder.
The processor works perfectly, with one quirk: when the button is pushed to start processing the rollers will not stop until the unit is unplugged. They're supposed to stop automatically after a time, but for some reason they don't on this one. It has been this way since I received the unit and doesn't cause problems in practice, but it's there. It can be fixed, but it has never been annoying enough to make me want to open the processor and diagnose the problem.
I am asking $350 + shipping for the processor and holder. If you don't need the holder I am open to offers for the processor alone (or the holder alone), but figured a processor + holder package might be useful for someone getting started with instant 8x10 material.
The processor is heavy and shipping is going to be significant. If you are in the New York City area (including NYC, Long Island and northern and central New Jersey) I may be able to deliver it to you.
