Polaroid 600 One Step

Hi guy's,

Before I buy film for this camera, I have 3 questions about it.
The version without the close focus (I won't do any selfie or 'macroish work), has a minimum distance of?
Other thing is, does it have the half shutter feature to not fire the flash?
And at last, what are their defects?

Not sure about the minimum distance. But any One Step I have had, the flash always fires. They're a pretty straight forward instant camera.
