Hi everyone - just a quick Q's. Bought a older style (metal bail) polaroid 405 holder off another member here. Having never owned one is the bottom roller mean to spin freely? On mine the top metal roller spins beautifully but the bottom one is hardish to turn.

Yes! The both rollers have to spin freely or you will not get good coverage from the developer goop in the pod. If you look closely at the bracket holding them, you can see how to take them off. I usually clean mine with lighter fluid, but alcohol and other solvents work well.

Good morning;

All of the Polaroid devices I have do allow the rollers to turn. If this was not intended, they probably would have just put in a curved panel and save quite a bit of money in manufacturing them.
