I've been given a Polaroid 250 kit that contains, A 250 camera with rangefinder, portrait kit, close up kit, a flash attachment and other accessories and a very nice case into which it all fits. Is there any value in such a kit?

Somewhere between 25-60$ depending on what buyers are looking for. I purchased the exact same setup about 2 months ago (360 model though) for $35 from the bay.

I would say $35 is about right. It's the best user of that series. If you sell, post photos of the (hopefully) corrosion-free battery compartment.

get some fuji fp100c and try it you might like it, you can get a battery that works in it for 9 dollars . I've had the same battery for 2 years without any issues, fp100c is some beautiful film, and it scans well, the prints are like little colorful jewels,
