Personally I like Gold 100 and find it a great film other then it being grainy. I was very suprised to see Kodak updating a consumer film, especially in the 100-200 range. They claim the new films have brighter colors. I can't see how they could make Gold 100 any more saturated then it already is. And why is another question. The new PGI for Gold 100 is 42 which is down from 45. Not much of a difference, especially since 400UC and 160VC-2 (similar color saturation) both have finer grain then GA100. Though I liked the color of the current GA100, it is about time they revised them. Last revision for Gold 100 was version 6 out in around 1999- 8 years ago. But didn't Kodak say they weren't going to improve their consumer films anymore?
