I have decided to part with my Plustek Opticfilm 120 scanner. This is the lastest model of 120 film scanner (that I am aware of) that supports modern interfaces like USB and uses software that is under active development.

The scanner has been barely used as you can see the original manufacturer shrink wrap is also intact on the front. The scanner comes with film holders capable of scanning pretty much any frame that has ever been developed for 120 film. It also comes with an IT8 target for accurate color calibration.

The scanner originally came with Silverfast 8. I have upgraded it to Silverfast 9 AI studio and will transfer the license to the new owner. It connects to the computer over USB and the software works with both Windows and Mac.

I have also included a few scans from this scanner to give you idea of the quality this scanner is capable of. If you would like to see additional scans, please let me know and I will dig it up for you.

I will accept Paypal and will gladly pay the fees. If you decide to pay by other means, I will credit you the transaction fee that I would have paid with Paypal. Shipping to continental US is included. The scanner would be double boxed in original manufacturer packaing for shipping.

At this point, I am firm on the price.

What was your experience with this scanner? Would you get the Pro model if it was possible?

My experience with the scanner has been very good. There is a learning curve to Silverfast, and I would gladly help the buyer if he/she/they so desire, but once you get it going, it is really nice. I would not get the Pro model even if it was available because there is literally no advantage to the Pro model except for marginally better speeds. But I have not seen a single Pro model outside of the (Photokina?) booth a couple of years (or more?) ago and it was not phenomenal.

I am selling this because I bought an Aztec and mostly getting out of smaller formats.

Let me know if you have additional questions.
