I order all of my ferric oxalate from B&S because of its purity so I can not answer about the chemical from artcraft.
You do not need potassium oxalate for clearing, but as a developer. The two primary developers I use are ammonium citrate and potassium oxalate. For clearing I use a combination of sodium sulfite and EDTA.
I do not like Rochelle salts because like many workers, I have difficulty with the longevity of the print when this developer is used. Apparently you have garnered much of your information from the book "Making Kallitypes", by Stevens.
If this is true, I suggest you do a search on this forum and on Unblinking Eye for better info on printing kallitypes. Much of what is in Stevens book is refuted by workers in the field. Some of the more up to date methods will yield more permanent prints, with fewer chemicals and problems.
