Everyone who sells anything in any environment is vulnerable to unscrupulous buyers.
Although they won't tell you, if you found out how much retailers lose due to credit card fraud and counterfeit currency, I expect you would be shocked.
You need to factor in some loss when you calculate prices.
And of course, be diligent.
