I finally got my big Voigtlander petzval mounted to a board so I can use it on my Canham 8x10. This weekend I hooked them up and shot a couple still life images in my patio outdoor studio. I kept everything simple, with a single 1000w fresnel for my lighting. The Voigtlander is so bright on the ground glass that I could focus and compose without a dark cloth!

I don’t know why my mobile upload is inverting my photos.

It has to be an absolute privilege to shot with such a glass. Field curvature, swirl and vignet are tools a master always has in mind...
