Playing with a new printing process - Pyrocat Advice?

Just started playing with a new printing process and my negs are going to need a massive contrast boost. Got a couple questions for Pyrocat HD users that have played with dilution more than I have.

Typically I use 1+1+100 dilution but on occasion have used 1+1+50 - The question is what is the effect on dev time/CI with 1+2+100 vs 1+1+50? I remember reading somewhere that 1+2+100 will give N+2 expansion at the same time/temp as compared to 1+1+100. I do not see that kind of activity increase with 1+1+50 but was wondering what to expect and which is the preferred way to go? 1+1+50 or 1+2+100 and why?

Ps. I am NOT looking for a compensating effect I am fine with an over all CI expansion targeting an N+2 at zone VI EV.

Assume for the purposes of this conversation I will be using TXP (virtually impossible to do massive expansions with 1+1+100) and TMX which takes a lot of development but is much more responsive.
