I just acquired this camera in a trade. I was preoccupied with checking out other items I got in this trade to notice that the filmpack holder that came with this camera just slid into the back without having any lips to guide it into the back of the camera. I googled the camera and found that it takes plate holders numbered 726/7 but I could not find any reference number for a ground glass back. The plate holders are secured to the camera by metal pieces fitting into small depressions in the tops of the holders.

I checked the sticky on the different variations of 9x12 holders but didn't see any 726/7 ones. Any help on the ground glass back would be helpful.

I have a well worn Zeiss Ikon Ideal 250/7 with an intact ground glass back and six or seven 726/7 holders in usable shape. I can take some photos later today if you are interested. Let me know.

Doug,

Here are some photos of my Ideal with its ground glass back and seven holders. I was unsure from your post if you were looking to buy a GG back and plate holders or just wanted info about them. I am happy to sell the camera and accessories pictured below, but if you were just looking for photos here they are.

Jonathan

Hello Jonathan: If the price is right I'd like to acquire the camera and the accessories. I'm not sure what value to put on all of the items. Maybe we can come up with a valuation that is agreeable to both of us.

Doug,

Just sent you a PM with more details and an asking price.
