Hi there,
Just a quick query here;
Is there any difference in using either a Planar or Sonnar type Hass lens (apart from focal length) for close-up work?
I know that the different types can react differently but would one type be more suited than the other to going close with 56 and 32mm ext tubes, poss combined?

Thoughts and opinions welcomed!

The Planar is better suited, will maintain better image quality when getting real close.

But with the Sonnar (150 mm?) will still be good.

I've had exceptional results with both my 80 Planar and also the 150 Sonnar with tubes and believe it or not even Proxars.

The planar would be better for flat copy work though.
