So you're good for 1 shot, then you have to find a place to wash and dry it before the next one? Plastic bag or not, I sure wouldn't want to be carrying uncapped syringes full of chems in my bag. Plus, direct positive paper is FB and 30ml of water for 60 seconds is not going to cut it. To me, the process just seems far more tedious than it needs to be.

It looks like a nice pinhole camera, and probably better left as just that.

Neat but when I'm out shooting, that is what I want to concentrate on. Shooting. When I'm back at home, developing.

Same here. Also noted that you have wet camera after one shot; probably ruins your next shot.

too bad they don't have a 11x14 size, go big or go home!

Besides rocking agitating a giant 11x14 box would be a great crowd pleaser
users could dress a performer or mime and put a hat down for tips! might pay for itself
and all the photo paper + chems by the end of each outing .. the worst would be "doing the box"
while in a glass box or pulling a rope, or climbing a ladder, that would be tough but. ... more tips!

I would just get a Polaroid type instant film camera if I wanted instant pics.

This is the first Kickstarter project presented at Apug where I think I might get me such.

That is pretty cool, but seems like it would be best left as a pinhole camera & ditch the portable developing aspect. But I guess it would fill the need for those wanting instant gratification.

I do not know how special it is amongst other readymade pinhole cameras, but I like the in camera development feature. IF he tackled the various tightness and cleaniness issues I expect.
I really do not want skin contact with developer bath.

Woah, that was re fascinating read @peter k.
I guess in camera exposure & development can be useful. This Pinsta is not something I'm interested in, but can see others appeal to the all in one design.

It’s a cool idea, not super practical in some respects, but everything is a compromise in one way or another.

We had our picture taken in Santiago (Sp) by a photog with a camera workng the same way. Not pinhole but paper negatives and all chems inside the box with arm holes.
It is common in central Asia it seems but the paper is becoming hard to get. Contact paper is almost unobtainium.
Very interesting. Thanks for the post.

So maybe a 4x5 patterson tank might work too with some modification. No syringe needed but it would require more water/chemistry and you could process an actual negative or paper. I thought about a Stearman SP445 tank also but I don't think you could get a big enough image circle for 4x5.

Maybe make film cassettes that can be processed outside the camera? Maybe some kind of dip & dunk system where you dip the film cassette into a small tank directly. Liquid could go inside and get outside with light gates in front..

Nothing new. In the 70's such already had been made.

Also those daylight-loading tanks (Agfa, Jobo) came close to such too.
