OK, here is the second exhibit I am planning for this winter:
A Pinhole/Toy Camera Show at the Valley Photo Center. The exhibit will run from Feb 24 - March 27, 2009. I don't think I need a long explanation to this group as to what a Pinhole or Toy Cameras is.
So here are the particulars:
All entries are due no later than January 7, 2009.
Entry fee is $40.00 for a group of four (ready to hang) photos.
There will be a $300.00 first place prize; $150.00 second place prize and $50.00 third place prize. The three winners will have all four of their photos exhibited. At least one photo (maybe two, space permitting) from all the remaining entrants will be displayed.
At the moment I am still working on a juror for the show. The juror will be a well respected photographer/artist from the region. When I have that information, I will send out a notice ASAP.
Drop off locations for the work are as follows:
The Valley Photo Center during regular gallery hours or by special arrangement.

If you choose to mail in your entry(s) please include a check for return postage.
Again, I am trying to keep this a regional event because, as I said in the last
thread, the VPC is a small, struggling entity and doesn't have the staff to handle a large influx of entries from all over... but it would be nice to have that luxury... I digress.
