Hi all  I am wondering if anyone is printing digital negatives with the Piezography K7 inkset? I have seen some inkjet prints using the neutral set and they are really beautiful. I'm thinking of getting the split tone set myself.

Thoughts?

They don't work on glossy surfaces like the OHP material, so I don't think it will work. Best bet would be to ask Jon Cone. Sometimes he posts to the Yahoo B/W forum:

If not you might be able to get John Dean to print a test for you if you sent him the OHP material, he uses the K6 in at least one Epson 7000 printer.

I have printed digital negatives using the piezography inks.
Basically, use Piezography if you like the results printing B&W images onto nice fine art papers. Frankly, I think Piezography is one of the easiest ways to create a beautiful B&W print onto great papers.

You can then double-up your Piezo printer to make digital negatives. I haven't used the latest inks - but they may not 'stick' well onto the white film. But you can still use these negatives. In the past, I just taped a piece of 1/2 mil milar over the negative to protect it.
The Piezo inks are also supported directly by the Quadtone RIP - so I'd experiment with using it for making digital negatives. Ron-san has created a new article on using the quadtone rip at www.digital-negatives.com.
