I have had brand new lenses and dust get into the lenses. I picked up a manual Nikon Ai 35/2 and there is literally no dust at all. How did this happen? Little use? It was cleaned by the vendor before selling?

Cheers.

I hoard old, rubbed, scratched lenses. But what you would not find is any dust. Maybe there are other guys like me...
