OK, folks, It's time again for my semi-annual push to get you to the PHSNE Photographica show and sale. This year, it's early and I have to work elsewhere, but that doesn't make it any less exciting and useful for gear-hounds and folks interested in talking with those who really do know what is what with old photo stuff.

This year, I suggest an early Sunday visit to the show, and then a quick trip over to Acton, where Suzanne Revy's show, Small Wonders, is installed at the Library. The 28th is a reception and gallery talk by the great woman herself!

Show some spirit, show up and buy stuff and then go to the Small Wonders exhibit and glory in the wonders of great work.

So I won't see you at the show this year...I will be there Saturday helping out as a volunteer.

I attended the PHSNE regular meeting yesterday (Sunday). Gary Samson gave a great talk on Ultra large format photography, I really enjoyed it. He brought his 12X20 Wisner and set it up, a very impressive camera and he displayed some great photographs!

Hey Whitey! Thanks for the kind comments, and it was great to run into you and Lena at the Acton Library yesterday!! What a hoot!!

So, yes... I am planning a reception/talk on the 28th, and it would be great to see a few APUGgers head over after the PHSNE deal.

And John, I'm jealous. I would have enjoyed hearing Samson speak!!

Suzanne, I would like to stop by for the reception but I work Sundays. I will definitely stop by and see it next week!

Seeing Gary's work has brought me out of a photographic slump, his enthusiasm is inspiring!
