Another paranoid thought, I am begin to think that Finesse 100 and 400 are both Double X sold as one stop under and one stop over.
Should be easy to test if they're the same film (which I highly doubt - retailers can be stupid, but not THAT stupid). Much more difficult to ascertain what they are however. Probably kentmere or so. Maybe even Foma.
Can you post a picture of the sprocket holes? Are they the slightly rounded BH perforations? Just curious because Post #110 on this thread seems to show "standard" perforations:Sprockets look to be made for movie film, it shoots really well at 200, at 100, highlights are blown. I noticed that there are times for the 400 version none for the 100. Last roll I used double X times, 200 D76 1:2 11 minutes, spot on.
