Photoshop on an Ipad

I am a long time user of photoshop on a computer. I take photographs in raw, in PS I normally do 1-clarity, texture and maybe dehaze first, 2-I next do toning, color, and spot removal etc, 3- I normally save this file as a PSD or TIFF, 4-If exporting a jpeg I do sharpeningfirst and save new file as a jpeg.

So now I have a new Ipad Air M4 and have downloaded the Ipad PS version. After imprting a file PS lets me do layers and other things I’m not looking for. I have to export the image before I can get to the tools I want to use-but no longer as a raw file.

Am I doing something wrong? PS help videos a d online searches are of no help with this.
 
I think that the features you're looking for are included in the iOS version of Lightroom rather than Photoshop. But Lightroom is free to download and use on iOS.

I subscribe to Photoshop which include Bridge and Light Room. I do use bridge on my
Imac but I never use Light Room. Before buying this new Ipad I did use Light Room on my 3rd generation Ipad Air and found it very limiting.

Again I am using PS on my Ipad Air M4.
 
The Adobe iOS apps are sort of a different UX paradigm than the desktop apps. I also find them very limiting, and only rarely use them, and then only for images that aren't very important to me.

But as far as finding a direct 1 to 1 for any of the features of the desktop versions of the software you're used to, there really isn't one offered by Adobe and I'm not aware of any offered by a competitor. If I had to process raw files on an iPad I would use Lightroom despite it's limitations, but I think I remember Apple adding some support for processing raw files to their Photos app when they added the capability for their cameras to shoot raw files? I'm not sure if it was only for processing Apples own DNG files or if it works for other formats, and honestly I don't like it any better than Lightroom anyway, but maybe it would be better suited to your needs in some way.

After spending way too much time to solve what I thought was a simple question I have ended up being to input my raw files from my SD card into Lightroom. Have not been able to do this in PS.

I miss the old days when you could get phone support from Adobe!
