Photolucida Anyone?

Is anyone going to Photolucida this year? My name has come up on the waiting list, and I'm seriously considering making the trip north. Anyone been there before have any thoughts? I've been to Photofest, which was great, but I've not been to Photolucida.

I'm participating. This is my first time, so I'm not sure what to expect either

Me, too. My first trip to a photo festival, but I lived in the Portland area for a few years so there is that degree of familiarity.

The portfolios are ready and I am in the final mad phases of preparation of the "leave behind" materials. There is the excitement of something new mixed with the dread of the unknown.

I am excited about the prospect of showing my photographs to people who will actually know photography. Whatever happens, I doubt I will be scarred to the point that I will give up photography.
