Hello fellow APUG'ers,

I am a high school photography student in Toronto, Canada. I exclusively shoot B&W film, & develop and print all my work in my own darkroom. I primarily do landscape & nature fine art photography, but have recently tried to do some portraits. I look forward to sharing info with you on this forum.

Long live film!

welcome aboard - from the GTA

glad that you found this site. There is lots of information here to guide you. If there are any questions, look around, and if you can't find the answer, post, and someone will guide you.

In the regions area here there is a post of people who are in the Toronto area. There is quite a reasonable representation of us here.

High school, and home darkroom. That was me, let me count now, 25 years and 5 darkrooms ago. You have a life of photography to enjoy, and look forward to.

Welcome from northern Ontario. Check out the Toronto thread; I think there may be something brewing for this Friday.

Welcome from a former Torontonian (was I really one of those?) currently in France soon to return to Manitoba.

This is a great site -- you'll love it.

Welcome to APUG from western Massachusetts USA. It's great to see more young people joining our ranks.

Welcome from another resident of the Canadian Riviera, Toronto.

So, I just went down to Henry's Downtown last week, & picked up a 100' roll of Agfa APX100 for $40. Pretty good deal, no? I don't have a bulk loader, but I don't see anything wrong in just cutting off an armlength in the darkroom & then winding it into a reusable cartridge. Anyone else try this before?

All the time.
And welcome.

What timing, I just returned from Toronto -- was there over the weekend seeing as much of Contact Photo as the time would allow. I hope you go to the trouble of seeing every part of that that you can....
