Currently the AIC has 3 photography shows mounted. I would think anyone with an interest in photography will find something out of the 3 that make a visit worthwhile.
Charles Sheeler: Across Media
Mr Sheeler's switching between painting and photography is the basis for this show. His drawings/painting and mounted side by side with photographs of the same subject.

Photographs by the Score: Personal Visons Some Twenty Years Apart.
A who's who list of photographers showing 2 or 3 of their photographs taken twenty or so years apart

So the Story Goes: Photgraphs by Tina Barney, Philip Lorca-deCorcia, Nan Goldin, Sally Mann, and Larry Sultan.

Depending on your personal interest, there is something here for anyone. Plus there is Central Camera 3 blocks away that is a classic old-time camera store still running full blast. When I was there they had a Leica factory demo.
