Photography is not a very inclusive field according to Photo Lucida's critical mass

Things are changing. Though one must accept that societal changes proceed at an almost geological pace. Look at the racial strife here in the US. It's no longer openly institutionalized but there nonetheless. As a reasonable citizen all one can do is not participate and when witnessing discrimination (of any type) rally against it. Teach children to accept on character. Slowly it will recede into the past although we may never see it's disappearance we can leave here with the knowledge we did our part.

You [catLABS] simply come here with controversial references and wait for someone to post something contrary so you can espouse your lofty opinion with thinly veiled insults.

I agree.

May I repeat what has been said before on APUG, DO NOT FEED THE TROLLS!

Yup! Especially what I put in bold.

Meā culpā

I stand corrected, and apologize for a broad and sweeping statement. I was "checking my work," and did find diversity in the form of female presence in Catlabs-created Youtube content.

I refuse to accept judgement by my skin color or my gender. I refuse to be judged guilty by the behavior of another person. Anybody who does not acknowledge that America has changed in the last 50+ years is a liar and a fool. This is not the same country I was born into in 1957.

Yet it amazes me how far we haven't come in those 58 years. Yes women can easily do things outside marriage and children. And brown people can walk down the street and get a meal w/o being beaten. Like I said earlier progress is slow for no reason other than stubbornness. We can do better.

Perhaps the lack of representation of certain social or ethnic groups is by their own preference. When someone doesn't aspire to be your peer, why is that their disadvantage and not your own?
