Photographing Auschwitz

Always remember it takes only a brief moment for you to become what you fear. Treat the unfortunate accordingly.
Politicians tap into the fear of "Those people". The ones that are scapegoated. Those people are the Rohingya, Roma people, Jews, people crossing our borders and add anyone you would like. Get to know them and you will find out that they are same as we are. Once a person gets to know a group that they fear, that fear goes away.

I spent my formative years in a progressive liberal time and place. The exposure to a myriad of people hammered home we are all the same.

Their government has not in the past and definitely not in the present. Definitely not with the comfort women.

We are on the same page.

Quite the opposite in Europe where most countries (following the EC recommendations) favor the migration of thousands every month from Africa. As African population is going exponential, this is only the beginning even if some Eastern Europe countries (Hungary, Poland) would like to counteract what is more and more considered as an invasion. "Populist" parties are on the rise in Germany, France, Italy, you name it, it is not a coincidence. In France, the government disbands migrants camps in Paris every month (not to mention the Calais situation). Clearly the European institutions and their national acolytes should be considered as accountable for the disaster to come.
