Nothing is more fabulous, complicated and photogenic than the human heart. Cloaked within the mystery of the past, present and future, it is a thing of wonder. Created with the alchemist photographer in mind, this workshop allows you to get your hands wet in more ways than one. Not only will you be able to get up close and personal with an actual, live, beating human heart and photograph until your heart is content, you'll be able to plunge your hands right in there and help. That's right! YOU will be the surgeon.
Led by internationally recognized (honest, I have friends in several countries and I'm sure they would recognize me from the photographs in my website) photographer, Proctor Norman, this is an experience you won't soon forget. Having watched a few surgeries in the past, he feels himself to be supremely qualified to teach just about anyone that is good with their hands the subtleties of not only photographing a real-live surgical procedure but the finer points of quadruple bypass surgery as well. No fooling. Norman says, "I've seen this at least 10 times and let me tell you, there's nothing to it." He went on to say, "Who needs a real surgeon anyway?"
Yes, you heard it right. In fact, by the time you're done with this workshop, you'll be able to perform your own bypass surgery when your time comes. AND take pictures of it as it happens! Until then, you'll actually be able to start your own workshop and teach others with your expertise! "Yeah", says Norman, "I've been photographing at least 3 years and I've been picking up a knife since my Mom let me cut my own food. What more experience do you need?"
Perhaps the best part of this workshop is that it costs only $125.00 including all materials! You will be needing to bring your own rubber gloves and Xacto knives. (Clean blades are recommended). Stop by your nearest Home Depot for a box of 100 gloves and you'll be set for life.
If this sounds like something you want to do, all you have to do is dream.
PM me for details and payment information.
Thank You and Happy April!
