Ya I get grumpy sometimes. You know we haven't been treated to one of your wonderful images for quite sometime.
And when I laugh, I usually direct some of that laughter at myself. One of my favorite sayings is, "When you point your finger at someome, three fingers on your hand are pointing back at you."

Tax-dodging did leave the path a bit -- but sort of fits in if one considers false claims such as listing oneself as a Professional Photographer, when one has sold two prints and was paid $200 to photograph a friend's wedding.

I learn photography at a university that offered photo classes thru its Art Department (then working as the lab tech there for 20+ years). It was the 3rd such program in the USA...at a time when photography was often taught thru the sciences or other non-art programs. So I am biased when it comes to photography as art, and to when someone practises photography as an art form. They are an artist...the decision if they are a poor, fair, good, excellent, or a master artist is up to the viewer/critics.
