I really like the colors of photocroms. I did a research on web and every photocrom building , stone , rock colors looked similar to my eye. I think these were the Detroit prints and because of they printed lots of prints in short time , similar colored prints flooded the net.
I have some questions :
- Where can I buy online of these postcards originals especially Jackson ones ?
- Why stone is used , do chemicals etch the stone ? Can I use aluminum plate if no etching is not there.
- Can I still find the same paint chemicals now ?
- Is there any printer or experimenter who makes stone or plastic, metal prints with same paints ?
