I assume Wasatch Photo is a retailer. If so, an interesting idea. While arguably they are hosting their competitors (private sales), I suspect that it brings folks to the store. If for nothing else, film. Longer term, it helps develop continued interest in the hobby.
The meet was good except for the rain. It had to be moved inside of the store so it was crowded. I sold an enlarger to a girl at the U of U.
The Salt Lake Photographic Print Society hosted an annual swap meet for many years. When they stopped, Wasatch photo offered to host it. It is a fun event and a great way to find deals on old gear. It brings a lot of people into the store.
