Win2K is in its "extended" support stage. There will be no more product updates, minimal security updates, and no one is bothering to write program api's for it anymore. As the transition makes its way to Vista, don't expect anything written with Vista in mind to run on W2K, 98, or ME....
Anymore, more than 2 years between hardware upgrades, specifically in the memory category is the spoiler for running the latest apps. They will run sure, but not optimized...
