Hi,

I recently shot portraits and I know that my exposure was correct. The printing lab's results showed the white background as gray because their printer gray scales everything.

Should I, for the next shoot, use slide film? If so, how can I present them to the model to pick prints; can a contact sheet

be made from slide film?

Thank you in advance.

g'day Kek
why not just have them reprinted

changing to slide film will not actually help, you need to consider;

what result did you want?
what presenation did you want?
what are you trying to achieve?

Give fuller instructions to your lab. If you wanted the background white ask them what they can do. Lower the density increase the contrast, dodge...
