Photo Sharing for Family / Friends

I've used a number. Flickr's my latest, but in their transition, I can't get access anymore. I've tried many. Flickr seemed simple enough. Maybe they'll fix it, maybe they won't. Wonder what sharing sites folks find easiest to work with for this purpose?
Sharing sites (Flickr, Smugmug, etc), web blogs like Wordpress, or some other. Helpful suggestions appreciated.
 
For me the question is "what and why do I want to put photos online?"

I did use Smugmug for a while (nice format, looks good) but came to the temporary conclusion that blog format like Wordpress made sense. But then I realized I didn't want to dedicate time to a blog and didn't really want to share a lot of photos, which is why I only have a few on Photrio's Media.
 
Easy and free: Flickr
Easy and not free: Squarespace

Flickr does seem to be having a few hiccups with the transition but hopefully they'll iron it out soon. It's a good platform.
 
I usually share photos with family via e-mail. I have posted lots of old family photographs on Flickr, but few people bother to look at them. My 87 year old father knows how to save e-mail photos, but never logs on to Flickr. If a have a large enough collection of images, I will have them printed and mailed to him.

Rarely, I will post a picture for friends on Facebook, but that is only once or twice a year.
